Learn to Defend the Motherland! (Russian: Учись защищать Родину!) is a 1947 Soviet propaganda poster by Maria Krasnokutskaya (Russian: Мария Краснокутская).
Released shortly after WWII, the poster appears designed to strengthen pre-conscription military training. In the middle of Red Square, you can see a young boy looking up as his father and grandfather (both Red Army veterans) teach him important life lessons.
