Marxism Leninism is the Cause of Freedom! (Russian: Марксизм-ленинизм. Дело свободы) is a 1978 Soviet propaganda poster by Veniamin Briskin (Russian: Вениамин Брискин).
The full text of the poster reads: "Marxism Leninism is the Cause of Freedom, the Cause of Progress, it is Invincible!" (Russian: «Марксизм-ленинизм. Дело свободы, дело прогресса непобедимо!»).
The center of the image shows a strong-looking Soviet worker marching with a Marxism-Leninism banner. He is rejecting the outreached, skeletal arm of what is presumably an American - given the dollar sign on the cuff and the nuclear warhead atop its black banner. That banner bears the worlds Anti-communism
and Anti-Sovietism (Russian: Антикоммунизм, Антисоветизм).
